Senior researcher represents the senior fellow who has more than 10 years of research experience following the PhD degree. Full time equivalent research experience: this is measured from the date when the researcher obtained the degree which would formally entitle her/him to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the research training is provided, irrespective of whether or not a doctorate is envisaged. Researchers showing trans-national mobility Researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date. Compulsory national service and/or short stays such as holidays are not taken into account. (According to the 2011 People work programme). French citizens living abroad are not excluded if they can show trans-national mobility.
